The movie is good but not great. The effects are top notch and are the real reason to watch this film. Why would you build a huge robot exoskeleton that has to hold it's weapons in it's hands and uses a damn Rambo knife?
Great 3D effects in Imax
you are just looking for a reason. The plot is laughable and the movie is bad. end of story.
plot is not always what makes a good movie. You can enjoy many many other aspects.
The plot is just pure & simple. It's a pretty emotional film. The visuals are epic and that's what makes people talk about it. But the plot serves the purpose of this movie well.
All movies need a good plot. It's what makes them.
Who needs plot... Movie is worth watching and rewatching BECAUSE of the amazing visuals..
I agree with Public ENEMY 100%. Avoid this movie unless you just like nice visuals and stupid plots.
Unlike most people, I dont think this movie is a great scifi. Although the visuals are excellent, some scenes are just stupid and boring. I cannot stand to watch this movie the second time.
Watch the extended version... then Capturing Pandora... Cameron and the Avatar team are geniuses.
If you haven't seen it, watch it. Nuff said.
